Tibet painting exhibition in Berlin

"Beauty of Tibet" a Chinese oil painting exhibition has been launched at the Chinese Embassy in Berlin, Germany. The show features 115 art pieces depicting daily life on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.

It also reflects the locals’ pursuit of a more wealthy, civilized Tibet. The exhibition is a window into plateau trditions and cultures for German viewers, as well as an opportunity for Tibetan artists to exchange ideas with their German counterparts.

"Beauty of Tibet" will move on to Hamburg after its Berlin leg. It is part of a series of activities held to mark the 40th anniversary of the diplomatic ties between China and Germany, from painting exhibitions to football friendlies.
