The concert, "Ultimate Broadway," is a sort of condensed history of Western musicals. It features a collection of songs from classical musical comedies, and is really stirring things up in Shanghai.

Ultimate Broadway boasts selections from Golden Era musicals to contemporary Broadway favorites. It’s quite an eclectic display, too, featuring excerpts from everything from Beauty and Beast to South Pacific, My Fair Lady to Sunset Boulevard. So it’s hard to miss the playful spirit of the event. And there’s real talent here too.

Ultimate Broadway features Tony Award nominee Josh Young and Ria Jones from Les Miserables and Evita. The show is being co-produced by Shanghai’s Culture Square and a mix of international production companies. It will run until end of the month.
