Sao Paulo Fashion Week has opened up to showcase the upcoming winter collection of Brazil’s most renowned designers. The four-day event is the top-billed in Latin America. Twenty-nine designers will showcase their collections throughout the event.

Ronaldo Fraga, one of the most talented and original designers on Brazil’s fashion scene, brought yet another innovative collection to the catwalk. His eye-catching outfits were made from a variety of fabrics - many made from recycled materials. He was followed by designer Helo Rodrigues, who showcased new trends from her brand Teca. Her winter collection had a strong European flare - with several leather outfits. Brazil is Latin America’s biggest economy and has one of the world’s fastest-growing fashion industries. This year’s winter event was delayed by a couple of months. The new dates better align the Brazilian shows with the international fashion calendar.
