The next film is likely to leave you shaken, if not stirred. The latest James Bond adventure is about to sweep across German cinemas. Daniel Craig’s third run at the role touched down in Berlin on Tuesday.

So far, "Skyfall" has been skyrocketing. It set the record for the biggest UK weekend box office takings of any James Bond film to date. It earned more than 20 million pounds after opening across the UK and Ireland. The film marks a franchise debut for Oscar-winning director Sam Mendes. The plot puts veteran actress Judi Dench, 77, at the heart of the action as Bond’s boss M. Marking 50 years after the first Bond film "Dr. No" premiered in London in 1962, Skyfall has been hailed by the critics as a triumphant return to form after 2008’s tepidly received "Quantum of Solace."

BERLIN, GERMANY - OCTOBER 30: Clemens Schick, Aino Laberenz (C) and Veruschka von Lehndorff attend the Germany premiere of 'Skyfall' at the Theater am Potsdamer Platz on October 30, 2012 in Berlin, Germany.
