Contemporary arts can have some appeal for the masses. That's the message of an art exhibition held in the city of Nanjing of East China's Jiangsu Province. The exhibition has put together works by artists from around the world.

Imagination soars in the exhibition hall. Visitors here are treated with a visual feast.

The exhibition is divided into several sections. One of the highlights is the public service ads posters show. It puts together works by college students from over 50 countries around the world. The young artists express their concerns about the world and their works attract visitors from different backgrounds.

Artist Ji Peng said, "The works here can give visitors a strong visual experience. And every of them delivers a clear message. For example, some call for protection of biodiversity, some shout out ’No war’. They can totally appeal to the visitors."

The art exhibition is hosted by the China Artists Association. It offers free admission and runs until Thursday.
