Video: Remembering the late Jimi Hendrix

Legendary guitarist Jimi Hendrix would have turned 70 years old on November 27th. The American musician, who also has a large fan base in China, shot to fame in the late 1960s, and died at the age of 27 in 1970.

Jimi Hendrix is widely considered to be one of the greatest electric guitar players in the history of popular music, and one of the most important musicians of the 20th century.

Rolling Stone magazine ranked his three non-posthumous studio albums, "Are You Experienced", "Axis: Bold as Love" and "Electric Ladyland" among the top 100 Greatest Albums of All Time.

The magazine also ranked Hendrix number one on their list of the 100 greatest guitarists of all time.
