What is the best way for remote ethnic cultures to survive? A group of college students from the Communications University of China have presented their ideas.

More than 200 images are being displayed at the university in an exhibition called "Journey into Ancient Naxi". These photos document various aspects of the Dongba culture of the Naxi people, living in Southwest China’s Yunnan Province.

The pictures were taken by college students from the University, along with their contemporaries from the University of Northampton in the UK. The exhibition will then move on to the city of Lijiang, where the Donba culture originated.
