Dialogue 10/12/21 Mainland-Taiwan ties enhanced

12-21-2010 21:06 BJT Special Report: 6th Cross-Strait Talks |

Mainland and Taiwan have signed a medical pact. The two sides both hope the investment protection pact can be signed soon.

Although there is only one agreement signed, experts think it is a very important and difficult one. We have come a long way in building trust and respects.

A lot of work need to be done to put talks into framework. It is a framework agreement, a little far from the reality.

Some issues will be implemented as scheduled and further issues like investment protection will be discussed in the future while we implement the existing agreement.
