09-21-2011 21:47 BJT

A two-day conference is being held by the Federal Reserve to determine what is necessary to fix the US economy. But given the lackluster 2nd round of a similar monetary therapy, many start to question the wisdom of Mr. Bernanke, chairman of the US central bank. Is this desperation? We Chinese have repeatedly voiced our concerns about the safety of our assets and the gloomy prospects of having more inflationary pressure and the fallout of having more speculative money to warp our economy. Joining us here in the Beijing studio are Mr. Einar Tangen, Biz Times columnist and author and professor Liu Baocheng with the University of International Business and Economics.
