Dialogue 20120222 US & DPRK resume talks in Beijing

Envoys from the United States and the Democratic People''s Republic of Korea (DPRK) will hold talks for the resumption of the long-stalled six-party talks in the Chinese capital of Beijing; in their first such contact following the death of former DPRK leader Kim Jong Il. The main focus of the upcoming meeting would be the six-party talks aimed at a nuclear free peninsula, although the issue of food aid could also be touched upon.
