06-30-2012 05:21 BJT Special Report: 15th Anniversary of HKSAR’s Return to Motherland |

Hong Kong is an international city that enjoys freedom. Hong Kong Art is the first comprehensive survey of contemporary art from Hong Kong presented within the changing social and political context of the territory’s 1997 handover from British to Chinese sovereignty. Ever since the handover, Hong Kong has become a privileged display window for Chinese culture and art. Hong Kong's culture and art should include Southeast Asian culture and art and become an international exchange platform for both the East and the West. Hong Kong has all it takes to become the most important eastern culture & art center in the world.
