Deductions about Sanxingdui

This river is called Mamu River. Even the local villagers are unclear about the number of years it has been running. When Mamu River runs through the village, in the shape of a crescent moon. People call it " Moon Creek". On the south bank of Mamu River, there used to be three large mounds, so-called Sanxindui. Although no accurate record can be found, a local folklore has been passed on for thousands years by word of mouth. " One day, Jade Emperor saw a treasure place, so on it he sprinkled three handfuls of earth. Once the earth landed on the vast plain, they transformed into three mounds, resembling three stars in a straight line." This is where the name of Sanxindui or Tri-Star Stack came from. As time passes, the mounds can hardly be traced, but the beautiful folklore annotates a civilization built on mythology.

1986 was a special year in Chinese archaeology. During a 61-day dig starting from July 18, 900 exquisite ancient antifacts were unearthed from two pits full of treasures. The mysterious ancient Shu culture astonished the world. These ancient antifacts, come across the time barrier, connecting us to a lost history.
