会话 A

(At home.)

Liu Ming:(writing a letter.)

Li Hong: Liu Ming, it's time to eat, what are you writing?

Liu Ming: Oh, I'm writing greeting card to friends.

Li Hong: Yes, it's nearly New Year's, I've also received many electronic greeting cards

Liu Ming: I don't like electronic greeting cards. One second, the other person's got it.

Li Hong: You're pretty nostalgic. Hey, Liu Ming, if you're writing to an overseas friend, you've written the address in the wrong place.

Lan Lan: Mom, dad.

Li Hong: Lan Lan, finished school?

Liu Ming: Lan Lan, can you see if dad's written the address wrongly?

Lan Lan: (looks at envelope) Dad, this is no big mistake, there's a boy in our class who is really scatterbrained. One day, he sent a letter, three days later, the letter came back to him. Have a guess, why?

Li Hong: He's written the wrong address.

Lan Lan: No.

Liu Ming: He wrote the receiver's name as his own?

Lan Lan: No.

Li Hong: Didn't stick on a stamp?

Lan Lan: (laughs) He did, but not a stamp. He stuck on his own photo.
