会话 A

(Li Hong at home ironing clothes.)

Liu Ming: Ms. Li Hong, you have a rest, I'll do it.

Li Hong: You know how to iron clothes?

Liu Ming: I can learn if I don't know how? Today is the 8th of March, Women's Day, you have a rest; you don't have to do anything.

Li Hong: Well then, you do the ironing, I'll wash the dirty laundry.

Liu Ming: No need, I just washed all the dirty laundry.

Li Hong: Really? All the laundry? Liu Ming, come and have a look, you mean well but your help has made more trouble. Look at this..., these pure wool trousers must be dry-cleaned. But you’ve washed it in water.

Liu Ming: Whoops, that's right, pure wool garments should be dry-cleaned.

Li Hong: Another thing, cottons and silks should be washed separately.

Liu Ming: Look, the colors have all run! It looks like doing the laundry requires quite some knowledge.

Li Hong: Yes, you're an expert at running a company, but you're an amateur when it comes to doing the laundry.

Liu Ming: OK, we're not going to iron the clothes or do the laundry. Today is your day, let's go shopping for clothes?
