* 美媒报道称球迷直呼习近平看NBA太酷

17号晚,正在洛杉矶(Los Angeles)访问的中国国家副主席习近平亲临NBA现场,观看湖人队(the Lakes)和太阳队(Suns)的比赛,也成为了第一位亲身观看NBA赛事的中国领导人。许多到场的美国球迷直呼“太酷了”。当晚,习近平在加州(California)州长布朗和洛杉矶市长维拉莱戈萨的陪同下,观看了第三节和第四节前半段的比赛。习近平身穿西装但未打领带,他并不跟随其他观众鼓掌或喝彩,而是非常专注地看着比赛,平常并不戴眼镜的他还戴上眼镜观看,遇到精彩处他也会跟旁边的维拉莱戈萨热烈讨论,两人不时开怀大笑。这是习近平此次访美的最后一项私人活动。他此次观看比赛非常低调,但相当多的球迷还是注意到了习近平的身影。有球迷说:“我认识他,最近几天全美国的媒体上都能看到他的照片,他很有趣,也很亲切,中国领导人来现场看比赛,这太酷了!”

* 俄圣彼得堡等城市举行集会支持普京

据俄罗斯媒体18号报道,约20万俄罗斯民众当天在俄罗斯十几个城市举行集会或游行,支持俄罗斯总统候选人、现任总理普京(Putin)。约6万名民众聚集在圣彼得堡(St. Petersburg)“十月”音乐大厅旁的广场,集会者举着“我们支持普京,我们与普京同在”等标语,对普京表示支持。集会组织者还呼吁人们积极参与3月4号举行的总统选举投票。除圣彼得堡外,俄罗斯当天还有十多个城市举行了类似集会或游行,参与人数超过14万。全俄社会舆论研究中心17号公布的一项调查结果显示,普京的选民支持率近期持续上升,目前已接近55%。俄总统选举正式投票将于3月4日举行,有5名候选人将参加选举,在第一轮投票中得到50%以上选票者当选总统。

* 日本前首相菅直人承认福岛电站事故为“人祸”

日本前首相菅直人(Naoto Ka)说,福岛(Fukushima)第一核电站选址错误,没有充分考虑大海啸威胁,辐射泄漏是“人祸”。菅直人接受专访时告诉美联社(Associated Press)记者:“3•11前,我们完全没有准备,无论硬件还是我们的体系和组织,都没有准备。这是最大问题。”去年3月11号地震和海啸中,福岛第一核电站外部供电系统和内部备用发电机全部瘫痪,引发爆炸和辐射物质泄漏。菅直人饱受应对灾害不力的指责,去年8月辞职。他认为,这场灾难显示,从核电站安全规范到灾难管理,需要彻底改革。但他否认政府故意隐瞒信息,同时承认政府披露信息迟缓,一些时候甚至发布错误信息。
