Nature and Science World Expo Special >>

From October 2 to October 21, Nature and Science will rebroadcast the special series focusing on the World Expo 2010 in Shanghai. The World Expo is a vast, global, non-commercial Exposition. Its aim is to promote the exchange of ideas and the development of the world’s economy, culture, science and technology. The exhibitors represent virtually every country in the world. They publicize their achievements, in the hope, among other things, of strengthening their international relationships.

Accordingly, the World Expo, with its 150-year history, is regarded as the Olympic Games of the economy, science and technology. The World Expo 2010 in Shanghai is the first official World Expo that’s held in a developing country. Like the Beijing Olympics held two years ago, the Expo represents another proud achievement of the Chinese nation on the international stage.
