Studio Interview with Mr. Tao Wenzhao on Greek debt crisis

For more on the Greek debt crisis we have our current affairs commentator Tao Wenzhao in our studio. Welcome -

Q1.

The Greece debt crisis can be traced back to the end of 2009, when the economy saw a huge budget deficit, of 12.7 percent of GDP. It also had rising debt levels, that reached nearly 113 percent of the year's GDP. The EU and IMF have only now agreed on an emergency rescue package. Why has the EU been so slow in responding to the crisis?

Q2.

The European Commission and IMF have set many conditions for their bailout plan. They will also monitor Greece's progress and loan disbursements will be tied to those reviews. What do you think this means for Greece?
