World Expositions almost always provide windows into the future. As a fast developing international metropolis, this year's host city is prominently showcasing its forward looking vision and spirit. The Shanghai Corporate Pavilion made its debut at the fairgrounds on Tuesday evening. CCTV BIZ EXPO reporter, Guan Xin, now takes a look at the ideas presented in this hall.

The ceremony to dedicate the Shanghai Corporate Pavilion was highlighted by an immense backdrop –- the building's wall. It is composed of numerous LED lights, which change colors, and levels of brightness, to form a host of patterns.

CCTV reporter Guan Xin said, "Dream-like tunnels lead to the world of the Shanghai Corporate Pavilion. Then you encounter movement sensing fibers, which change shades according to visitors behavior. The idea is to show the harmony between nature and humanity."

Up next is a slide show displaying Shanghai's past and present, as well as the challenges awaiting the city on the road leading to the future.

Finally, visitors can enjoy a 360-degree movie, which features interactive energy saving and environmental protection technology. These innovations are not only illustrative of the enrichment of the imagination, and symbolic of the industrialism of the city, but also meet the pressing needs of sustainable development.
