The International Cooperation Conference on Green Economy and Climate Change opens in Beijing today.

The two-day meeting will address issues on Sustainable Development, Carbon Finance and Investment in New Energy.

After December's Copenhagen Conference, the international community still pays close attention to how to promote the international negotiation process on Climate Change.

Upcoming conferences in Bonn, Germany and Cancun, Mexico will continue the discussion on finding common ground and benefits, and how to reach a final law-binding resolution.

"We hope to pool all opinions together, especially from experts and government representatives. This could help improve our communication and exchange, and how to find a resolution after the Copenhagen Conference but before the Cancun meeting at the end of the year."
