Fujian Province is one of the worst-hit by the recent rainstorm disaster. A group of armed police has gathered to assist those trapped by the waters.
200 soldiers of the armed police stationed in Fujian spent over 4 hours on muddy roads, carrying 2,000 kilograms of rice and 3,000 meters of water piping to Tianping village, in the northern part of the province.
Nearly 200 villagers there are trapped, without enough food and water. Traffic in and out of the village has been cut off. The relief work is expected to continue.
