And for more on the meeting between the US President and Israeli Prime Minister, we're joined again by Current Affairs Commentator Hua Shiping, professor of political science from the University of Louisville.

Q1: Both Israeli and US officials have expressed satisfaction about this week's meeting between Obama and Netanyahu, calling it positive and encouraging. There appear to be signs of reconciliation between the two sides. Why do you think both leaders have been making efforts to iron out the kinks?

Q2: Earlier in the day, US First Lady Michelle Obama even invited Netanyahu's wife, Sara, to have tea at the White House for the first time. Some media reports are calling this meeting between the two leaders a bilateral soap opera. What are the prospects for the relationship between these two nations in the future?
