Danxia Landforms consist of red sedimentary rock and make up steep cliffs. Its a unique type of petrographic geomorphology.
The Danxia Landforms are located across six Chinese provinces, including Guangdong and Jinagxi.
They are famous for cave formations, large and small. The caves tend to be shallow and isolated, unlike in Karst terrain where caves tend to form interconnecting networks.
