For more insight on the third round of UN Climate talks in Germany, we are now joined by Professor Teng Jimeng from Beijing Foreign Studies University.

Q1: Hello, Professor Teng, we know that new proposals have been added at this round of talks. The UN climate chief says progress has been made on determining the shape of the future deal. What's the significance of this round of UN Climate talks?

Q2: There is still a lot to be done at meetings in China and Mexico later this year. Global warming has been a concern for a long time, why is it so difficult for countries to reach a consensus in dealing with the issue?
