For more analysis on the epidemic prevention efforts from the deadly Gansu landslide, we're now joined on the phone by Dr. Art Pesigan, the technical officer from the Emergency and Humanitarian Actions of the WHO Western Pacific Regional Office.

Q1: Epidemic prevention is one of the most important tasks in the aftermath of a disaster aftermath. So far, no major epidemic situation has been reported due to timely prevention efforts. Normally, what should be done to further prevent epidemic outbreaks, especially for the injured and displaced people?
