Transportation is returning to normal in Dandong in northeast China, following destructive downpours. The Dandong railway station has resumed operation, except service to Changdian, which remains suspended until Tuesday.
The passenger flow has reached more than 4,000. Bus service from Dandong to other parts of the province has also re-started. Greater efforts are being made to repair power and telecommunications. The Shenyang Military Area Command has also dispatched two helicopters. Relief materials, such as water and food, have been air-dropped to disaster-area residents.
