Hamas' exiled leader Khaled Meshaal says peace talks between Palestinians and Israel next week are illegitimate, and may deal a fatal blow to the Palestinian cause.
In Tuesday's speech in the Syrian capital Damascus, Mesha-al said Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is TOO weak to stand up to Israel and negotiate a JUST deal.
He said if the talks succeed, they'll succeed in favour of Israeli standards. Mesha-al asked Abbas and his Fatah faction, to join Hamas in adopting a Palestinian strategy.
He said the strategy, should concentrate on the option of resistance and holding on to in-alienable Palestinian rights. But, Hamas doesn't rule out peace talks with Israel IF they realize what IT considers, Palestinian rights.
