To talk more about the Israeli-Palestinian peace talks, we're joined by Professor Tao Wenzhao from Tsinghua University. Hello, Professor Tao.

Q1: Hamas has attacked Israelis twice over the past couple of days, and given no indication it would be willing to accept a deal with Israel reached by Abbas. Will the rival Palestinian factions overshadow any achievement of the peace talks?

Q2: Israel's moratorium on Jewish settlement construction in the disputed West Bank is due to expire in three weeks. In his public remarks, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu made no reference to an extension. The issue is a major obstacle in the peace process. What's your perspective on it?
