With rescue work making significant progress, family members of 33 trapped miners have begun to stream into a camp near the mine, waiting for the moment to reunite with their loved ones.

Relative of trapped miner Gene Sanchez said, "Only two or three more days until the rescue, and I have faith and hope that everything will be all right. That is why I am so calm. The nerves and anxiety, our anxiousness - we are much more calm."

Brother of trapped miner Juan Gonzalez Silva said, "I have learned many things. To love the family, be more understanding. Many things have changed."

Father-in-law to trapped miner Carlos Narvaez said, "Right now our emotions are of happiness. We are confident that everything is going to turn out all right as it has gone so far."
