December 1st is the 23rd World AIDS Day. This year's theme is Universal Access and Rights. People around the world are marking the occasion, hoping to raise awareness of the disease. Full Story>>

And for more insight into World Aids Day, we are joined by Professor Xie Tao from Beijing Foreign Studies University.

Q1: As we mentioned earlier, China has abolished travel restrictions for foreigners with HIV/AIDS. What do you think of China's efforts to improve social tolerance and respect for HIV patients?

Q2: The theme of this year's AIDS Day is "Universal Access and Human Rights". However, AIDS patients tend to be concentrated in some poor areas where people are trapped in the vicious circle of poverty, lack of education and AIDS. How can we break that circle and truly realize universal access?
