For more on the cross-strait meeting, we are joined once again by our current affairs commentator, Professor Tao Wenzhao.

Q1: This is the sixth such meeting between the mainland and Taiwan. In the previous rounds, the two sides signed many agreements, including transport, postal services, the Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement and IPR protection. But we know this year's meeting will produce just one agreement. Some people might consider this result as unsatisfactory. Is that the case?

Q2: The agreement that has been reached on medical issues and health cooperation sounds important, what does it mean in practice?
