A fast spreading forest fire has reached a village in the Yulong Naxi Autonomous County in the city of Lijiang, southwest China's Yunnan Province.

So far 4-hundred people have been organized to put out the fire. But due to strong winds and the steep mountains, officials have decided to postpone the operations until the winds weaken. Officials expect to extinguish the blaze by 8 a.m. Tuesday morning.
