Cambodian, Thai troops exchange fire

Cambodian and Thai troops have exchanged gunfire again at two temples in the border area. Thai media reports that at four Thai soldiers were wounded.

Cambodian deputy commander at the Ta Mon Thom Temple says heavy weapons have been used, including rockets and mortars.

Just over two months ago, the two sides engaged in a deadly clash near the border at the disputed area next to Preah Vihear temple.

The latest fighting is taking place, about 200 kilometers west of Preah Vihear, in Oddar Meanchey province in Cambodia.
