Obama starts two-day Poland visit

US President Barack Obama has arrived in Warsaw for the last leg of his European trip, a two-day visit to Poland.

Before arriving at the Presidential Palace, Barack Obama laid flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Monument to the Ghetto Heroes. He also attended a dinner hosted by Polish president Broni-slaw Komorowski. Obama is scheduled to hold talks with president Komorowski and the Polish Prime Minister. They are expected to discuss issues ranging from missile defense to shale gas and Obama will likely reaffirm Washington's commitment to Polish security.

Obama leaves Poland on Saturday afternoon to return to the US, concluding a tour which also took him to Ireland, Britain and France, where he attended the G8 summit.
