The painter of the "Dwelling in Fuchun Mountain," Huang Gongwang, lived at the turn of the 14th century. The artwork was torn in two during the late Ming Dynasty, when a collector tried to have it burnt before he died in 1650. Other ancient paintings and quality duplicates will also be on display.
