DPRK celebrates 90th anniv. of CPC

China's Embassy in the DPRK has invited people from all walks of life to a reception to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Chinese Communist Party.

Senior Korean Workers' Party and DPRK leaders were present at the celebration in the Korean Hotel in Pyongyang, including Kim Yong-nam, Chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme Peoples' Assembly and Choe Yong-rim, Premier of the DPRK.

Senior Korean Workers Party official Kim Gi-nam expressed his congratulations on the CPC's 90th anniversary in his speech and China's ambassador in the DPRK, Liu Hongcai gave his thanks to the Workers Party, the country and its people for their help and support.

Liu says history proves that without the CPC, there would be no new China. He also stressed the friendship between the two parties and countries would have a better future with joint efforts.
