Exclusive: What is the right speed of China's economic dev't?

The economy is like a bicycle, to keep balance, one must keep on peddling. But how fast? China’s been holding its economy at the breakneck pace of 8 percent annual growth for quite some time, but now it might choose to slow down a bit.

What are the reasons for this change, and what might be some of the implications? Earlier I talked to Li Daokui, Professor of Economics from Tsinghua University. He is a CPPCC member, and also serves as an academic on China’s central bank Monetary Policy Committee.
