A video uploaded to the internet on Sunday shows the old city of Homs under shellfire, as international pressure grows on Syrian President to implement a UN-Arab League peace proposal.

Annan’s six-point peace plan calls for the military to cease fire, withdraw from towns and cities, and allow humanitarian access. As the shellfire continues across Syria, Western and Arab nations stepped up verbal pressure on Assad to accept the plan. In north-western Idlib province, hundreds of mourners packed into a square in Ma’rat al Numan for the funeral of a man named as Abdul Hameed Ahmed Keitaz, and the an unnamed victim in Hama.
