Tele interview: China's role at tripartite meeting

Top diplomats from China, South Korea, and Japan start two-days of talks in the eastern Chinese city of Ningbo on Saturday. It's the sixth Foreign Ministerial meeting among the three neighbours. Regional trade cooperation and security is expected to top the agenda. Full story>>

For more on the meeting, we are joined on the line by Mr. Yang Xiyu, Senior research fellow at the China Institute of International Studies.

Q1: As we all know tensions are rising over the DPRK's planned rocket launch next week, what agreement do you expect this meeting to reach over the issue and what will be China's role?

Q2: Japan, South Korea and China are key economies in East Asia, how important is closer economic integration?
