Crossover: Rain will continue in Southern China

Many areas of China are suffering continuous rainstorms. The worst-hit areas include Sichuan province and Chongqing in southwest China and east China’s Anhui and Jiangsu provinces. Full story >>

CCTV weather forecaster, Danni Huang, from the China Meteorological Center has more on the extreme weather conditions in China.

Q1: Southern China has been hit by torrential rain. Can you give us the forecast for the coming days in the affected areas?

Q2: The scorching weather in parts of southern and northern China has caused some dismay. How long are these high temperatures likely to last?
