Chinese President Hu Jintao says a new form of partnership between China and Africa will herald a new era of co-operation between the two. Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Fifth Ministerial Conference of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, Hu reviewed past cooperation, and outlined a five-point plan to boost a new type of strategic partnership.
