The Nikkei rebounded as well from yesterday’s 1.6-percent fall but overall the benchmark is still heading for its first weekly fall in 3-weeks. Vincent Touraine is in Tokyo for us for all the latest.

Q1: We’re seeing a much more favorable day for Japanese shares today, but investors there are still cautious preferring domestic and defensive plays over risky ones.
