Greece could get some help tackling its economic crisis, thanks to an organization called Endeavor. Endeavor supports high-impact entrepreneurship and is bringing its model to Europe for the first time. As Filio Kontrafouri reports, one lucky Greek entrepreneur is reaping the benefits.

He’s young, full of energy and ideas-and now he’s an entrepreneur-the first backed by "Endeavor Greece." Nikos Kakavoulis started a digital platform, "Daily Secret," which he calls, a quote, "positive karma" project during a time of crisis. Before he knew it, his site had over half-million subscribers. And now with Endeavor’s support, this could be just the beginning.

Nikos Kakavoulis, Co=Founder & CEO, Daily Secret, said, "Digital is definitely a place where we can compete. So, we’re hoping to be that success story that will ignite the rest of the eco-system here and why not, create a new breed of companies."

"Daily Secret" is a daily e-mail newsletter that sends to subscribers a secret about their city. Based in Athens, it currently employs 17 people and is present in 19 cities worldwide. And now, as the first "Endeavor Greece" company, it plans to expand to other parts of the world, and create more jobs for Greeks in the process.

Filio Kontrafouri, Athens, said, "Unemployment in Greece is now almost at 25% and lack of opportunity among young people is one of the country’s biggest problems. Endeavor is hoping to change that."

Haris Makryniotis, Managing Director, Endeavor Greece, said, "Now is a time of opportunities new jobs back."

Endeavor aims to create more than 5.000 jobs in Greece in the next four years and generate more than half a billion in revenues.

Haris Makryniotis, said, "We have so many advantages here in Greece, we have some of the brightest minds but we have been unable to bring them up. And that’s what we want to do."

So as new entrepreneurs try to reach their "high-impact" potential, Greece could also find an opportunity to be lifted out of the crisis.
