The Miami Heat visited Atlanta Hawks on Friday. Exhibited good form recently, LeBron James’ team was looking forward to fourth straight win. With Dwyane Wade absent because of a nasty cold, James had to shoulder more responsibility.

The King staged on good form early on and the hosts could not find answer to his powerful drives-in and layups. 13 points for James in the first half. The dunk from Josh Smith helped the Hawks lead by two.

In the final minute of the first half, James banged knees with Smith. But both stars shook off the pain and continued to play in the second half. Chris Bosh stood out and nailed 24 for the night.

The hosts got a chance to turn the table, but Smith missed two crucial free throws and handed out the victory to Heat 95-89. James just missed a triple-double, grabbing 21 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists.
