66 injured in HK ferry incident discharged from hospital

A total of sixty-six people injured in the Hong Kong ferry incident have been discharged from hospital. That’s according to the ferry’s owner the Shun Tak company.

Jetfoil "Madeira" departed Hong Kong for Macao on Friday and collided with an object in the water near Hei Ling Chau island. It was then towed back to the Hong Kong Macao Ferry Terminal in Sheung Wan.

A total of 85 people on board were injured, including 76 passengers and nine crew members. They have been sent to five hospitals. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
