The National People's Congress has condemned Saturday’s attack in Kunming. NPC spokeswoman Fu Ying has called for more understanding and co-ordination from the international community regarding China’s efforts to fight against terrorist attacks.
"In this case, I want to express the most severe condemnation of the cruel and inhuman killing, express the deep condolences for the victims and sympathy for the injured. And we want to pray for the injured in hospital and hope they can recover as soon as possible. We express high respect to the police officers and ordinary citizens who fight against the terrorists. Terrorism has no boundaries. I hope China could get more understanding and co-ordination from the international community when fighting against terrorism.” said Fu Ying, NPC Spokeswoman.
