China will ensure successful management of Shanghai FTZ

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang says in his government work report that China encourages private investment into state controlled sectors, and promotes the development of internet finance in China.

Meanwhile, China will also continue to utilize foreign investment actively and effectively provide an open platform in the development of the Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone.

"We will ensure the successful building and management of the China Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone so that this model can be copied and extended, and we will launch a number of new trials. We will open China’s inland and border areas wider to the outside world, and turn these broad areas into hotspots for opening up."Premier Li said.
