Hu Jintao's FIRST stop... the China National Pavilion, the most significant building at the expo. He also paid a visit to another important structure: the Qinghai pavilion. After the devastating earthquake... hit Yushu in Qinghai Province on April the 14th, the President promised to take care of the region and the people living there. He said along with reconstruction, government policies will not only ensure a better life for locals, but also focus more on environmental protection.

The Life and Sunshine Pavilion is the FIRST pavilion in the expo's history that's ever been specifically... for disadvantaged people. It's where President Hu Jintao called for more understanding and increased rights for these groups of people. The President also visited the pavilions of other pavilions of Chinese cities international ones too.
