Poland's electoral commission has released the final results of the first round of the presidential election. The State Electoral Commission says acting president, Broni-slaw Komo-rowski won 41.5 percent of the vote, and Kaczynski, the twin brother of Poland's late president, got 36.5 percent in last Sunday's vote.
Komo-rowski's showing falls short of the absolute majority, needed to avoid a runoff vote, which is now scheduled for July 4. The commission says voter turnout was 55 percent.
