Fans remember king of pop

Friday marked the first anniversary of the death of the king of pop, Michael Jackson.

Fans waited all day behind barricades at the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale, California, to show the Jackson family how much their brother meant to them.

Jackson's siblings paid respects in the mausoleum before thanking fans for their support. Michael Jackson's popularity knew no global boundaries, but nowhere was he more popular than the Far East.

In Tokyo, Michael Jackson fans viewed a special exhibition named "Lifetime Collection" at Tokyo Tower. Hundreds of Chinese fans also gathered in Beijing.

our Chinese Michael Jackson impersonators gave performances as bands played Jackson's most famous hits.

In Taipei, the fans laid flowers and danced in tribute to Jackson, at a stadium where the singer had a concert.
