Employees from Greece's Public Power Corporation staged a protest outside their headquarters on Monday. They walked off the job for 48-hours in opposition to the government's overhaul of the pension system.
The protest is one of several to take place. Under the latest plan to reform the pension system, the government will raise the retirement age and reduce pension benefits.
Protesters dressed as electricians who work on underwater cables. The Public Power Corporation employees will join Greece's main unions on Tuesday in a general strike.
Public services will close down. Most transport services will be disrupted by the strike.
